SUBMISSIONS
The American Comparative Law Review is published twice a year: May-June and November-December. We welcome articles from law professors, researchers, and practitioners. We also accept articles form SJD, JSD, PhD, MA, and LLM students. The article submission must adhere to the fallowing guidelines:
· High scientific level and qualified legal research.
· Accurate citation-redaction criteria, according to the law review article standards and the Bluebook - last Edition, as well as the Chicago Manual of Style - 15th Edition.
· We only accept articles extension under 20.000 words, counting citations and footnotes. Exceptionally, however, we accept work research manuscripts under 35.000 words. In addition, we also admit jurisprudence, notes and court decisions comments under 5.000 words. Overall, articles contain from 9 to 14 pages (Word), meanwhile work research may contain from 10 to 25 pages (word).
· We strongly recommend article submission only by e-mail to: articlesubmission@haclr.org
· We encourage article submissions between January and April for the first issue, and July - October for the second issue.
· The article's publication submitted to the Law Review depends upon the Editorial Board approbation.
· By submitting an article to HACLR, the author's article is granting HACLR the right to use it and publish it in the HACLR according to our policies, including the online publication policy. Consequently, article submission encompasses the acceptation of our Copyright form HACLR-CRF, which is provided upon request.
· The article submission must includes: CV-author; motivation letter; abstract (subject, title, thesis); e-mail address; mailing address, and telephone number.
· International authors must keep in mind that articles are published in English; therefore, they must be submitted only in English.
